A little further afield a visit to Porthmadog is a must, home to the famous Ffestiniog Railway or perhaps visit the Italianate village and gardens of Portmeirion and the World Heritage Site of Caernarfon. With the whole of the spectacular Llyn Peninsula on the doorstep, plus a superb 27-hole golf course not too far away, Y Berllan is ideally located for a fabulous holiday or break away, anytime throughout the year.

Set atop sweeping cliffs on the north coast of the Llyn Peninsula, the pretty coastal town of Nefyn also features a glorious two mile stretch of sandy beach which makes it an excellent location for a family holiday. With a good selection of shops, pubs and restaurants, this lovely little coastal village has everything you could possibly need for a quiet, relaxing vacation. Nearby are the towns of Pwllheli and Abersoch which also offer a number of amenities and make excellent spots for days trips. Just 25 miles away is the Snowdonia National Park, which offers a wide array of walks through beautiful countryside, as well as excellent bird-watching opportunities.
