After a morning of retail therapy, take a stroll along the towpath of the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal. Alternatively, journey to Llangorse Lake (27 miles) for an afternoon on the water. History enthusiasts will enjoy a trip to LLanthony Priory (10 miles) to admire the atmospheric ruins sitting in the shadows of the Black Mountains.
