Guests consistently praise Pool House for its cleanliness, modern amenities, and beautiful location. The property offers splendid views, well-managed gardens, and easy access to woodland walks. Hosts are noted for their helpfulness, and the property is deemed excellent value for money. While there are minor comments on outdoor stair accessibility and walkway cleanliness during bad weather, the overall sentiment is overwhelmingly positive.
Reviewers frequently highlight the immaculate condition of the property, with one even rating cleanliness over 100%. Only one minor comment about the walkway affected by weather slightly impacts this otherwise perfect perception.
The property is celebrated for its quiet, scenic setting with easy access to local attractions and woodland walks. The rich industrial history of the area adds to its charm. No negative comments about the location were noted.
Guests find the cottage comfortable, mentioning a mattress that is 'just what the doctor ordered' and a garden suitable for pets. The only drawback mentioned is the challenge of outdoor stairs for one guest.
Facilities are generally well-regarded, with the property described as modern and well-organised. Some guests suggested improvements, such as the addition of smaller hand towels and better maintenance of the entry walkway during bad weather.

In the magnificent Wye Valley, close to Tintern with its renowned Abbey remains, Ross-on-Wye, Monmouth, Llandogo, and the lovely village of Trellech. The town was formerly one of the biggest in Wales, thus its magnificent church, and gets its name from the three standing stones known as "Harold's Stones." Many people come to see the three stones, the Virtuous Well, and the Tump Turret, a 40-foot mound that dates back to Norman times and is thought to be the remnants of a motte and bailey castle because of the village's history.
