Ty Gwartheg is a well-received holiday cottage in South Wales, praised for its welcoming owner, Roger, and its beautiful location with sea views and proximity to beaches. Guests enjoyed the ample space for large groups, the pet-friendly policy, and the comfortable setting. The cottage's cleanliness and maintenance received mixed feedback, but the overall experience was positive with guests expressing a desire to return.
The cottage was generally found to be clean, with one report of finding food and dead flies on top of a dresser. Beds and kitchen were mentioned as clean, although some items needed washing before use.
The location is highly praised for its wonderful sea views, easy access to the beach, and proximity to local footpaths and the village. It is also well-placed for exploring the Pembrokeshire coast.
Guests found the cottage comfortable, with plenty of room for extended families and large groups. The beds were described as nice to sleep on, contributing to the overall comfort.
The property is well-equipped, especially the kitchen, and fits large groups comfortably. However, there was a mention of the property needing updates and better signage for finding it.
While guests appreciated the friendliness and helpfulness of the owner, there were no specific mentions of gifts or special thoughtful touches that could be guaranteed for future guests.

Comfortable and cosy cottages with a lovely lawn overlooking the sea in the distance. The two families really enjoyed their stay and loved the location; no risk of children running into a road etc; very safe site.
