While some guests find the proximity to a busy road a downside, others seem unaffected. The property is noted for its large kitchen, ample space, and suitability for dogs.
The property is generally praised for its cleanliness, with guests finding it clean and comfortable. However, one mention of a mould issue in the washing machine suggests room for improvement.
The location receives mixed reviews. While the proximity to Pembroke and local beaches is a plus, several guests have raised concerns about the noise and disturbance from the nearby busy road.
Guests find the property roomy and comfortable, with a homely feel and a large garden. However, some guests mention issues with road noise affecting sleep and a chilly temperature due to restricted thermostat access.
Facilities are generally well-received, with a well-equipped kitchen and utility room. However, there are comments about insufficient hot water for the bath, mould in the washing machine, and suggestions for better lighting.

Pembroke 2.4 miles. Tucked away in the medieval town of Pembroke Dock near Pembroke, Pembrokeshire is this delightful three-bedroom holiday home, Nash Lodge. Boasting spacious open-plan interior, a woodburning stove and enclosed garden, Nash Lodge welcomes six guests and one small four-legged friend to bask in a lovely getaway to South Wales. Enter your new abode to be impressed by a suitably stocked kitchen/diner hosting all the necessary appliances so the designated chef can impress with tasty delicacies; settle down at the dining table in the kitchen or opt for another seating opportunity in the living/dining room which benefits from a roaring woodburning stove. After dinner, curl up in the homely sitting area and click on the TV to enjoy some light entertainment; when the weather permits why not step outside to enjoy an evening tipple as your pooch plays within the safe confines of an enclosed garden. Retreat inside to wash away the day in either a handy ground-floor shower room, or a spacious upstairs bathroom where you can indulge a long soak in the tub; choose from either two doubles or a twin to unwind and catch your rest in before awakening to kickstart your itinerary. Further afield, animal lovers may appreciate a day out at the Manor Wildlife Park, whereas history buffs may wish to tour the site of Carew Castle and Tidal Mill, a stunning structure overlooking the Carew River. For a day spent on the sandy trails, travel by car to the coast and choose from a selection of beautiful beaches including Barafundle Bay Beach, Swanlake Beach and Tenby South Beach; nearby in Tenby, you can also enjoy St. Catherine’s Island and Fort, Tenby Castle and Tenby Golf Club, so be sure to pack your clubs! Begin your Welsh adventure from Nash Lodge.
Henry Tudor was born in the majestic castle that is located in Pembroke, a mediaeval walled town. This old town boasts a tonne of stores, cute tea houses, and restaurants, all in a beautiful location on the river estuary. Nearby lies the breathtaking Pembrokeshire coastline, which boasts award-winning beaches and wonderful coastal path treks. From here, a well-travelled bicycle route leads to Tenby, passing via the charming village of St. Florence. Bosherton, with its lovely lily ponds and well-known St. Govan's Inn, offering good ales and cuisine sourced locally, is only 4 miles distant. Surfers can head to Freshwater West, which was featured in one of the Harry Potter movies, or St Govan's Chapel, which is constructed into the cliff face, where you can enjoy wonderful views from Stack Rocks. Oakwood Theme Park, Folly Farm, where you can take a tractor ride or feed molly lambs, Manor House Wildlife Park, Dinosaur Experience, and Heatherton World of Adventures are all close by. Pembroke is the perfect starting point for a family trip, a walking getaway, or just the chance to relax in picturesque surroundings.
