Set on the edge of a quiet village in the Brecon Beacons National Park, this rustic, homely former dairy building surrounded by acres of private woodland and parkland is perfect for a romantic couple’s getaway. Spend quality time together conquering Pen y Fan, South Wales’s largest peak, or indulge in relaxing spa therapy in the on-site treatment studio.
There’s no better way to end of busy day’s adventure than unwinding in the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The roaring wood burner, delightful underfloor heating and earthy colour palette create a truly warming ambience that invites you to curl up on the comfy sofa, cook up a romantic feast and dine long into the evening losing yourself in wonderful views across the courtyard. When you can’t resist the call of bedtime, retire to the charming super-king-size bedroom which features characterful exposed brickwork and ceiling beams that create a soothing atmosphere for a dreamy rest. Make the most of your fresh, countryside air by dining alfresco in the enclosed garden before strolling beyond the estate to discover acres of private woodland and parkland.
This tranquil location in the Brecon Beacons is a haven for outdoor enthusiasts, with a plethora of waymarked paths from the doorstep carving their way through some stunning countryside and mountain ranges. Venture to the historic market town of Brecon just over 4 miles away to discover its iconic cathedral and weave your way through the maze of narrow streets and passageways lined with Georgian and Jacobean shop fronts. One of the most beautiful canals in South Wales, explore the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal (16.5 miles) on foot or two wheels following the towpath or discover the scenery aboard a canal boat or canoe. Explore the world beneath your feet at the National Showcaves Centre 22.5 miles away.
