The hut sits on a large site and visiting children will be delighted to discover a secret treehouse and swing, as well as a stream. There s a marked footpath from the fields to the nearest pub in Sennybridge, around 3 miles away, perfect for a hearty lunch before a stroll home. The village has other pubs to sample, plus local shops and cafes too. There are endless trails locally of varying lengths, and it s about 7 miles to the visitor centre for information and guides. Hop in the car and explore the National Showcaves Centre, 8 miles away, which also has dinosaurs and Shire Horses, or drive a little further and visit the cheeky residents of the Ape & Monkey Sanctuary, 12 miles. Step into the cosy shepherd s hut and you ll be delighted to find toasty underfloor heating and a high end finish running throughout. All handmade, the open plan layout is centred around a shiny stove and includes a fully equipped kitchen with electric oven, gas hob and a secret Belfast sink hidden under the removable counter top. There s a foldaway table to seat four, and plenty of storage space dotted around. A king size bed is secluded behind tartan curtains at one of the huts and at the other, a modern shower room with electric shower and toilet. Climb the steep ladder to the mezzanine floor to discover an additional double bed that s a dream for kids. Outside, a private deck provides the perfect place to kick back and soak up the superb views, and there s plenty of space in the field for kids and dogs to run free. Enjoy a refreshing tipple and fire up the BBQ for dinner outside or wrap up and indulge in a little stargazing with a warming hot chocolate. Need to know: 2 bedrooms 1 king size, 1 mezzanine double cabin bed. 1 shower room with WC. Electric oven, gas hob, stove top kettle, fridge. Freestanding stove with firebricks supplied.
