The largest natural lake in South Wales, Llangorse Lake, is within one mile from the hamlet. It has an old crannog and is one of the most beautiful sites to take a stroll, observe birdlife, go for a boat trip, or go fishing. The historic cathedral town of Brecon, which features stunning Georgian and Jacobean architecture, many museums, a theatre and cinema, unique shops, restaurants, and inns serving real ales and local food, is only six miles away.
