This lovely traditional Welsh cottage with a beautiful large garden is ideally located for exploring the characterful towns and stunning countryside of Mid Wales.. Ground Floor:
Living room: With wood burner, 55" Smart TV and beams.
Dining room.
Kitchen: With electric hob, Rayburn, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine.
Steep,open-tread, ladder style stairs to bedroom 2.(Please note this is not however the main staircase.)
Boot room.
Shower room: With walk-in shower and toilet.. First Floor:
Bedroom 1: With double bed.
Bedroom 2: With double bed.
Bedroom 3: With single bed (access to bedroom 2).. Oil central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Initial logs for wood burner included. Travel cot. Welcome pack. . Large enclosed garden with patio, garden furniture and BBQ. Bike store. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. . Pen Y Crug is situated down a quiet country lane neighbouring a working farm in Llanafan Fawr, and is a traditional Welsh cottage with lots of features and character. It is situated in a rural location and is perfect for those who want to walk in the open countryside. Ideally situated with walks from the door and for cyclists alike. Plenty of scope for relaxation and ideal for bird watching with the Red Kites and Buzzards being an every day sight. The property is located 6 miles from the market town of Builth Wells, with vast amounts of coffee shops, pubs and restaurants. It is also home to the Royal Welsh Showground which hosts a variety of shows over the year including the Spring Festival and the Royal Welsh Show in July. There are also plenty of animal shows throughout the year such as dog and horse events. For those wanting to take in the countryside, then Elan Valley is 15 miles from the property and has some outstanding views of the reservoirs and dams. There is the famous literary festival at the market town of Hay on Wye just 35 minutes away and the Brecon Beacons within a beautiful easy drive of 17 miles. Whether you are walking or taking your bikes, this area is definitely one to visit.

There are steep, open-tread, ladder style stairs from the kitchen to bedroom 2 but there is alternative access up the main staircase and through bedroom 3.
The property is situated on a working farm therefore children must be supervised at all times.
