There are market towns within easy reach and proper country pubs within a 5 minutes drive along the lane. Ideal for a family looking to get away from it all. With walks direct from the door and views for miles across the Brecon Beacons National Park. Take a stroll along the Brecon & Monmouth Canal with its popular Canal Food Trail. For riding the Black Mountains are home to several trekking centres the area is also great for cycling, challenging sub trans routes are nearby & bike hire and delivery is available nearby. Just 7 miles from Crickhowell, with independent traders, 12 miles from the Cathedral town of Brecon for larger shops and Welsh heritage, or 40 minutes from Hay on Wye. Growing foodie haven, Abergavenny with its Michelin restaurants and some independent gems, 20 minutes drive. The accommodation offers three bedrooms: 1 king size with a bath, 1 twin with en suite shower and WC and additional cosy bedroom. Bathroom: with bath and WC. Separate WC with washing machine on the ground floor. Lounge: with open fire (first baskets of logs included), TV, DVD and beautiful views to enjoy. Kitchen/diner: with range oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer. Outside: a terrace, with garden furniture in summer months, BBQ and acres of space to enjoy and walks directly from the door. Amenities: ample parking. Bed linen, towels, electric, central heating and Wi Fi included. Regret no smoking. 2 dogs welcome. Additional info: the central heating is efficiently run via a modern hydroelectric system feeding directly off water from the mountain. Arrival: 4pm Welcoming owners, who live in a house adjacent to the cottage with their two friendly and on hand if you need them, so you are not in total isolation, but will have the utmost privacy otherwise. Need to know: 3 bedrooms 1 king size bedroom with a bath inside the bedroom, 1 twin room and 1 single room. 2 bathrooms 1 family bathroom with WC, 1 en suite shower room with WC, 1 bath in the king size bedroom, 1 separate downstairs WC. Range cooker/hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer (more freezer space available if needed). 1 washing machine. Open fire. Central heating run via a modern hydroelectric system feeding directly off water from the mountain. TV/DVD. A sunny terrace with garden furniture for summer months, BBQ, acres of space to enjoy. Private, off road parking. Please keep pets downstairs and off the furniture.
