A beautifully presented, detached farmhouse ideally located just a short distance from the bustling Welsh market town of Knighton, and close to the English border on the owner's 400-acre sheep farm. Tastefully furnished throughout to provide spacious, contemporary accommodation, this light and airy farmhouse is ideal for families and friends to spend a relaxing holiday together. The five first floor bedrooms have been thoughtfully furnished with sumptuous beds, crisp bed linen and views over the surrounding farmland. One double bedroom has the added benefit of an en-suite shower room, while the other guests have the choice of a further two bathrooms and a separate first floor WC. The ground floor has a sitting room with reclining sofas and a warming woodburning stove, while the snug has patio doors to the front seating area. The well-equipped farmhouse kitchen boasts a Belling range cooker and a dining area that can seat all guests, making it the perfect place for a lazy Sunday lunch or a celebratory dinner. Guests can enjoy time in the games room playing table tennis, pool or a game of darts, or wander out to the hot tub and relax amongst the bubbles whilst taking in the views of the countryside beyond. Outside, the garden has space for outdoor games, the small paddock beyond the garden is available for ball games, or you can also enjoy a paddle in the stream running by. The charming market town of Knighton nestles amidst lovely countryside on the banks of the River Teme which straddles the English/Welsh border. This is a renowned location for walking, riding and cycling with Offa's Dyke actually passing through the town which hosts the Offa's Dyke Information Centre. Owain Glyndwr's Way also runs through the heart of the town and Radnor Forest and the 84 mile long Radnor Ring Cycling Route are also both close by. A wonderful location for exploring beautiful mid Wales, Shropshire and Herefordshire.

Very spacious inside out.We loved the environment and the nature and mountains around and how much freedom we had during our time here thank you so much. We also liked the welcome basket and the hand book came in handy everything we needed was written in there. The only problem we acquired was with the hot tub/Jacuzzi that wasnât cleaned for all the days we stayed nobody came but we rang them. That made our holiday almost unbearable. But overall a beautiful space to stayâ¦People are also very friendly inside the town. Thank you so much.

Very clean, but needs a bit of TLC as looks a little dated, however this did not hinder the comfort. We were inundated with flies so couldn't have the windows and doors open, and we were also concerned about when our food was out for eating. It was a bit too warm inside especially at night, so maybe installing some air conditioning would help. The games rooms were a huge hit, we had lots of fun in there with the family. The hot tub was fabulous and an added form of relaxation. Overall a great stay with efficient communication from the owner Amanda and the welcome basket was lovely and very thoughtful. We had takeaway from the Indian in the town which was very nice.

We were a party of 11, 5 kids, 5 adults and a puppy! This was a fantastic cottage for playing - loads of space and activities provided for everyone (and some brilliant games of hide and seek!) We also felt that our puppy had plenty of space to run around without risk of escaping (though admittedly his recall is pretty good). Hot tub was HUGE! And fit almost everyone at once. The owners were fantastic, there were a couple of issues (including a local power cut) but they contacted us and weâre quick to respond with any queries we had. We hope to return as this was a perfect stay for our group!
