Hillside Lodge is a spacious property ideal for large gatherings, offering ample room, a sizeable dining area, and a hot tub. The scenic views and large table for family dinners are particularly appreciated, creating a setting for memorable experiences.
The property is generally clean with comfortable beds and an ample supply of soft towels. However, some outdoor areas could benefit from more attention.
There is insufficient information to accurately assess the location as reviews focus on the property's immediate surroundings rather than its placement in the wider area.
The lodge provides comfort with spacious rooms and plenty of seating. The hot tub adds to the relaxing atmosphere, although some areas were noted to be a bit cold.
The lodge is well-equipped for large groups, with a good-sized freezer, two fridges, and plenty of cutlery. However, improvements are needed in outdoor furniture, lighting, and maintenance of the gutters and paving.
There are no mentions of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness, so this category cannot be scored.

Rooms are spacious and plenty of seating in the bottom floor lounge for everyone. First floor kitchen and dining area is also large, plenty of room for dining and cooking. Bedrooms also a good size. Hot tub easily fits 6 and alot of good chairs. We enjoyed our stay very much.
Neil
We were disappointed with some of the outdoor areas and feel there is room for improvement. Some of the paving is loose or have big gaps, not ideal for children or the elderly. The patio furniture is in a shocking state, some of the chairs are broken causing one of our guests to fall to the ground when she sat on it. To look at it the chairs look OK but the really are in poor condition. All the gutters were overflowing when it rained and some of the down pipes are not even coupled together. Sad really we felt it just needs a bit of TLC on the maintenance side and new patio furniture to make the say a more enjoyable experience.
