Set back off a peaceful country lane, this light-filled bungalow offers stylish and relaxing accommodation for families, friends and couples seeking a tranquil holiday bolthole in a serene part of the Herefordshire countryside. Offering cosy accommodation for up to six guests, the property is situated in a beautiful spot, midway between the Shropshire Hills and the Brecon Beacons. Enjoying stunning rural views and lying in the traditional hamlet of Kinnerton, this inviting retreat has been stylishly updated, tastefully decorated, and elegantly furnished, to make a fantastic base for walkers, nature lovers and cyclists.
Stepping inside this charming property, the main lounge/diner is an ideal space for sharing family feasts and sitting back to watch a movie on the Smart TV. The stylishly arranged kitchen has a central breakfast bar and leads through to a cosy snug with views towards Wimble Hill. Down the hallway, you will have a choice of three beautifully finished bedrooms: a lovely double, a pretty king-size room, and a cheery twin with a TV. The bungalow also has a refreshing family bathroom. Outside, the enclosed gardens feature a lawn and a patio area with a picnic table and BBQ, offering a fantastic spot to sit back and dine alfresco as you take in the wonderful far-reaching country landscapes surrounding the property.
Hay-on-Wye (18 miles) is to the south, known for its literature festival and numerous bookshops, and makes a fantastic base for walkers and hikers exploring the Brecon Beacons. Heading north, you can explore the stunning Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (9 miles). To the east, the friendly town of Presteigne (6.5 miles) sits on the Welsh/English border and is home to a classical music festival and the Judge’s Lodging Powys, with the Radnor Hills a mile further on.
