Guests say

Carreg Cottage is highly praised for its cleanliness, modern amenities, and prime location for exploring Snowdonia. Guests appreciate the well-equipped kitchen, comfortable furnishings, and the stunning views. The property is noted for being spacious, light, and airy, providing a comfortable and convenient base for both relaxation and adventure.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Guests consistently mention the exceptional cleanliness of the cottage, describing it as 'beautifully clean', 'very clean', and 'exceptionally clean', indicating a very high standard of cleanliness throughout the property.

The location is frequently highlighted as 'perfect', 'great', and 'wonderful', with its proximity to Mount Snowdon, local amenities, and transport links like the Sherpa bus, making it an ideal spot for exploring North Wales.

Comfort is a strong point, with guests finding the beds comfy and the cottage cosy. The spaciousness and the utility room for outdoor gear add to the comfort, although one mention of uncomfortable beds prevents a perfect score.

The cottage's facilities are well-received, with mentions of a well-appointed kitchen, Android TV, and broadband connection. The utility area is appreciated for practicality. However, a single negative comment about parking facilities slightly impacts the score.

While the reviews reflect positive experiences and satisfaction with the service, there is no mention of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness. Therefore, this category cannot be scored.

Well appointed cottage in a great location perfect for family of 4. Modern and spacious interior meant we had plenty of space and could chill out without being on top of each other at the end of a long day in the mountains. Really enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

Beautiful cottage. Bigger than we expected and light and airy. Amazing views and great location for lovely walks.

We had an excellent trip at this lovely cottage. Fantastic location in Capel Curig with doorstep walking on Moel Siabod, the Glyders and the Carneddau with only a short drive to Yr Wyddfa. The cottage is very comfortable, in a quiet and well connected location with very good equipment and facilities. We really enjoyed our stay and might well be coming back again in the future.
