The ancient town of Machynlleth is 6 miles away for a day trip with a difference thanks to the eco friendly vibe and bustling market. For those with a keen interest in history, Corris, 8 miles away, is an old mining town steeped in heritage complete with old mining workings and a popular craft centre that s home to shops, attractions and activities. Beautiful Aberdovey is 3 miles away and promises a traditional day beside the seaside where the youngest visitors can build sandcastles on the golden sandy beach and try their hand at crabbing. For active minded visitors, you ll be spoiled for choice with the water sports on offer, and there is an 18 hole championship golf course if you prefer to stay firmly on dry land. Enter via the porch to find a spacious hallway equipped with useful storage and a downstairs wet room, then step through to the kitchen to prepare a mug of something warm and soothing.
