Guests say

Henllys in Harlech is a well-regarded cottage, praised for its cleanliness, modern amenities, and excellent location near the main street and Harlech Castle. Guests appreciate the thoughtful touches, although some minor issues with maintenance and provisions were noted.

The property is consistently described as clean, modern, and tidy, indicating high standards of cleanliness.

The cottage's proximity to the main street and Harlech Castle is a highlight, though parking challenges due to narrow, steep roads are mentioned.

Guests found the beds comfortable and the living space nice, but the presence of a non-slip shower mat and additional small tables would enhance comfort.

Facilities like the shower and kitchen are well-received, but issues with missing starter packs, toilet rolls, and a leak affecting the property lower the score.

Guests mentioned receiving goodies, which is a considerate gesture, though it's noted that such gifts are a bonus and not guaranteed.

Restricted parking was another issue but sadly beyond the owners control, otherwise we had a very enjoyable stay and would recommend to anyone wanting a holiday cottage holiday

  • Andrea

There was no toilet roll or soap. Leaving milk and cakes is a nice touch but to not even leave 1 toilet roll was shocking. The 'starter pack' of fuel for the fire was also missing. This was advertised as a feature of the property. There was water running down the back door making an annoying dripping noise constantly. All the above spoil the impact of a very pretty clean cottage
