The location is frequently highlighted for its amazing views and peacefulness, with easy access to local attractions. The proximity to Bala and Snowdonia adds to the appeal, making it an ideal retreat.

Comfort is a strong point, with guests finding the cottage cosy and the beds comfortable. However, some guests mentioned issues with heating and the weight of the duvet, slightly affecting the score.

Great location. Found the hob hard to fathom but that's probably because we are used to having Gas. One criticism... wait for it.. no pegs to hang washing out! Other than that couldn't fault. Will definitely stay again.

So very relaxing and wonderful donkeys to pet as well! Fabulous place to stay and relax , a wonderful remote feeling but only 10 minutes to Bala

The cottage is comfortable, warm and well equipped. Aran is the most private of the three cottages up a steep bend on the hill. We didn’t use the communal area as had no children but it looked very nice. A very safe place for our dog who loved the freedom outside. Don’t forget a bag of carrots for the donkeys who welcome you every morning. Would recommend to Families and couples. Thankyou Jacqueline
