Hiking, swimming, cycling, water sports, fishing and golfing are all available nearby, and 0.5 miles from the property you can board a steam train to the mesmerising Dolgoch waterfalls, Tal-y-Llyn Lake and Cader Idriss summit. With space for four guests and two dogs also welcome to join, this property has got family holiday written all over it and would also suit couples and friends keen for some Welsh fresh-air therapy.
This quirky traditional home beautifully marries original features and modern comforts, with low beams and doorways adding to its rustic charm. Meal prep is a breeze in the well-equipped kitchen, while the dining area is bathed in light from dual-aspect windows, providing a lovely setting for communal meals. The lounge invites relaxation with its cosy sofas, Smart TV and wood burner. Outside, a games shed with a football/pool table will delight both young and grown-up children. In mild weather, you’ll love relaxing in the large, enclosed garden, which boasts a paved patio with table and chairs, a charcoal BBQ, a lush lawn and breathtaking views of the mountain range from dawn until dusk.
The charming beaches of Fairbourne and Aberdovey are within easy reach (14.5 miles and 11 miles), offering delightful restaurants, shops, independent shops and galleries.
