Guests say

Guests consistently praise the cottage for its cleanliness, stunning views, and peaceful location. The property is well-equipped with modern furnishings and offers a comfortable stay with thoughtful touches. The garden is appreciated by dog owners, though some noted it's not fully secure for pets. The hosts, Bob and Tina, receive commendations for their friendliness and helpfulness.

The property is frequently described as clean and well-maintained, with specific mentions of its spotlessness and Covid-19 awareness. One review mentioned cobwebs, but this seems to be an isolated incident rather than a common concern.

The location is lauded for its tranquillity, beautiful views, and proximity to local attractions. It serves as a peaceful retreat and a good base for exploring the surrounding area. The quietness and privacy are particularly appreciated.

Many reviews highlight the comfort of the property, including the quality of the furniture and the cosy atmosphere. However, a few guests mentioned issues with the mattresses and sofas, suggesting room for improvement in this area.

Facilities are generally seen as excellent, with a well-equipped kitchen and good quality furniture. Some guests suggested the addition of instructions for appliances and minor improvements in kitchenware. The shared laundry room and the presence of EV chargers are noted positively.

While many reviews express gratitude for the hosts' helpfulness and the comfortable touches in the cottage, there are no specific mentions of gifts. Therefore, it is not possible to assess the thoughtfulness based on gifts, and the score is set to null.

We found it clean, comfortable and well equipped. There's a large lawned area which our Border Collie loved to explore and run around in. The cottage has beautiful views of the surrounding hills and if not warm enough to sit outside and admire them there is a second lounge upstairs which was an added bonus. If you are looking to escape to peace and quiet this is the perfect cottage.
