  Vine Cottage is just what we hoped it would be. It’s large enough for all eleven of us ( eight adults, two children and a baby) plus two Labradors, to be together. Both the house and the garden are well equipped. We loved the hot tub. In the house we really appreciated having two fully equipped kitchens, including two fridge freezers and two dishwashers. The dining area was big enough for us all to eat together. There are two sitting rooms so one turned into a play room. The bedrooms were clean and attractive. The beds were comfortable. A great advantage, because of the children and dogs, was that upstairs is accessed by stairs with doors that can be closed. It’s just a stone’s throw from beautiful Walberswick beach, with its crabbing bridges. On the green there is a small play park for the little ones and several shops just a stroll away. We ate at The Anchor and the cafe, which were both enjoyable. A high spot was the ferry across the river to Southwold where we ate at the Harbour Inn and strolled into the town, returning along the beach. We thoroughly recommend Vine Cottage for a delightful break.

  We stayed at your Sweffling Hall site last week with friends who where in the cuckoo and we were in the Swift and I must say our first Glamping encounter did not disappoint. The accommodation was excellent. We were so impressed with the quality of furniture, beds, towels, cleanliness of bedding and everything we could possibly need in the kitchen. It’s was fantastic.I also was impressed with Sandra who welcomed us on site. She was in constant contact throughout or week and making sure we were enjoying our experience. There was a small incident with another tent who had not kept their dogs on the lead which led to my friends dog cutting their paw however Sandra dealt with it straight away and we were grateful.Will definitely be booking again. Thank you

  We had a lovely Christmas in the Bridewell.

  The house was just right with its log burner, old beams etc and great facilities. The kitchen is very well equipped, good cooker with 2 ovens open plan with the living room made a good space for cooking and entertaining. We arrived to a Christmas tree and very generous welcome pack . There was plenty of wood for the log burner. We knew there was no parking with the house . There is free on street parking with no time limit approx 10 mins walk away ( near Woodbridge school) more information about available parking in the details would be helpful. There was no guest information folder which is unusual. It would be helpful to have one with instructions for the heating, where the logs are kept , which bins to use and arrangements for recycling etc .

  We enjoyed the stay in Brideswell.

  However, we were disappointed with the parking situation. There was no parking space at the property and on-street parking was limited to 30mins. This was not mentioned in the advertising feature, There was nothing helpful as to the best place to park in the property. I found a carpark some distance away and paid for a full day, and overnight was free from 6pm till 8am. Unfortunately I was a little late getting to the car park after 8am and had incurred a £25 fine. The welcome note gave interesting background information on the property and said that if there were any problems, to contact the housekeeper. Unfortunately no contact details were provided!
