  We booked all 3 apartments has a family and we were delighted with whole place.

  Each apartment was well thought out in design and the facilities offered. it allowed us to gather has a family in the down stairs apartment for food drinks an a catch up.the downstairs apartment has bifold windows which allowed the dogs in and out freely with some lovely hanging lights. There was everything you could possibly need. washers, dishwashers,all your cleaning equipment and complimentary tea coffee and milk and biscuits for your arrival,shower shampoo and soap and towels.the beds and sofas were comfortable too. We loved everything about this place. Just down the road were some lovely gardens to walk around that overlooked the beach and town an the walk down to town was lovely, a little Cliffe tram is available if your not up for the walk down or back up. Parking out front or on the side street is freely available.we all loved each apartment and would definitely return.also great that each apartment can be rented out independently of the others is good there is keypad security to each apartment for this reason.

  The cottage is ideally located in the centre of high bentham.

  Didn't use car as much as everything was within walking distant. The cottage was spotless. Cosy living/dining area. Kitchen was bigger than we thought it would be. Had everything we needed to cook. Gas fire in living room was brilliant as we had some rainy days. The two bedrooms were good sizes for small cottage. The beds were the most comfortable ones we had stayed in. The sofa and chair were good size but need replacing as not comfortable to sit on . Could have done with 2 sets of towels each as due to weather couldn't hang washing out, and no air dryer in house to put out wet clothes on. The parking space in front of cottage was really good as only allowed 30 minutes on main street. Would definitely stay here again. Pubs, restaurants, shops were really good.

  This month we are celebrating the 50th anniversary of the first moon landing at tranquility base on the lunar sea of tranquility, my wife and I feel that we have discovered tranquility base here on planet earth in oak tree cottage.

  Over the years we have stayed in many cottages in various parts of the uk and for us this one has been by far the top of our pops.the cottage was spotless clean, exceptionally well facilitated and ideally situated for reaching the many attractions and places to visit that East Yorkshire and the coastline has to offer.Our hostess Louise was excellent in providing a lovely welcome pack, help,and guidance as and when we required it.This cottage is one that we shall definitely return to in the future and we would have no hesitation in highly recommending oak tree cottage to anyone seeking a real value for money venue in this magical location.   Just returned from a lovely short break at Honey Pot Cottage.

  What a lovely place to visit with lots of really good walks and returning to this lovely cottage was the icing on the cake. All the facilities you need and very comfortable beds. I was particularly impressed with the little things that normally nag at me when I stay in a holiday cottage such as somewhere to put your suitcase and a shelf in the shower to put all your toiletries on. A lot of thought has obviously been put into ensuring you have a comfortable break. Only niggle was the noise from the fan in the bathroom when you turned the light on, as I'm a light sleeper this did wake me up. However I would definitely recommend this as a place to stay.

  We were returning to East Yorkshire so that I could relive my student days at Hull University but wanted to stay somewhere peaceful and relaxing.

  Couldn't have chosen a better place! The cottage was in a lovely location with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. Pretty garden and good quality furnishings. Louise was a very welcoming host - happy to help us with questions we had about the area. We would also recommend the nearby pub - The New Inn for a very friendly and comfortable place to eat and socialise. Welcoming to children with good food at very reasonable prices. We really relaxed and recharged our batteries! Also the city tour of Hull with Paul Schofield was fascinating and well worth considering.
