Cottage was lovely.

In a lovely quiet village with a lovely pub. Cottage was clean and homely. Beds very comfortable and the shower was fantastic. Only thing I would say is the bath was high to get in and out if for anyone with a mobility problem. Welcome pack with tea coffee and biscuits was a nice touch and it was great to find milk in the fridge incase you'd forgotten some. Parking space outside for 1 car and free car park just down the road. Roads going to the cottage very narrow in places so care needs to be taken. Would highly recommend.

We loved our stay in Caldbeck.

This cottage was gorgeous, great condition + really homely! Great for dog owners, our pups loved there stay too. Such a convenient location for some of the best walks across the Lakes. The local pub had a great menu, all the locals were extremely friendly and helpful with recommendations. We cannot wait to return, only thing that wouldâve made out stay even better wouldâve been a hot tub :)

We stayed here from 14th September for a week.

What a lovely cottage it is well equipped with everything we needed for our stay, The welcome gifts of tea, coffee, milk and wine were much appreciated. Great base to explore from. We were blessed with lovely weather as well. The pub is definitely worth going very dog friendly and the food was excellent. Will definitely book again in the future

It is a lovely cottage and spotlessly clean on arrival.

Really appreciated the welcome gifts too. Only thing I would suggest is another side table in main bedroom? Is strange to only have one and there is plenty room? Thank you for providing a clothes airer as well, would have used washing line if weather allowed!!

A lovely house, in a lovely and friendly village.

Dog friendly, plenty of great walks. Recommend the local pub, the Oddfellow Arms, both for food, drink and friendliness. I would recommend to anyone, wanting a quiet retreat with a lovely host, who was friendly and helpful during our stay. Thankyou.
