We had a lovely family break staying together in Notts House.
Communication was excellent with Lynn who was so helpful and left a gratefully received welcome hamper. Staying in a property like Notts House is a unique experience - if only those walls could speak! The house is warm and cosy and is equipped with everything (and more) that you could need. It has a wonderful (and again unique) location in Wellington, which is a delightful village. The community shop is well stocked with helpful and friendly staff; in fact, everyone in the village was friendly. My husband and daughter' partner went to watch the local football team and were warmly welcomed after the game at the social club - so they were very happy!! Lovely countryside for walking just out of the gate. Amongst other locations we visited Leominster, Hereford, Ross and Hay on Wye. Would thoroughly recommend the Weir Gardens and other National Trust properties nearby - Croft Castle and Berrington Hall. Can't recommend highly enough. Thank you Lynn.

We really enjoyed our stay. We very extremely lucky that no one else was staying on site in the other properties. Iâm not too sure I would have enjoyed it as much, as I do feel the properties are too close and sharing the facilities with others could have been challenging if there were larger families, as it was only my partner and I staying: I think we would have been disappointed if we couldnât use the pool and the outdoor facilities which is reflected in the price. I would highly recommend the property - it has been decorated to high spec and exceptionally clean. The grounds are well maintained and the views are stunning. Sarah and Gavin work extremely hard managing the properties and grounds. We will definitely return. Thank you.

From the cleanliness of the house to the beautiful pool area, every minute was fantastic. Our large dog was very welcomed and loved the local walks. The large and beautifully manicured, enclosed gardens made us feel at ease with both our dog and young children. The hosts are the star of this experience also. They were welcoming, an array or marmalade, chocs and a delicious homemade cake awaited us, and were always available for advice or a chat but at the same time non existent... a unique ability. They even provided us with some home grown rhubarb! We spent each morning around the pool area and the afternoons exploring the local area. The cottage was in a perfect location for exploring. We would highly recommend a stay here.

We stayed at the Coach House for a week in August with our children aged 12, 10 and 7.
The absolute highlight of the stay was the swimming pool and hot tub area which we were lucky enough to use plenty as the weather was amazing. The coach house was so very lovely and clean, everything you could need in the kitchen to make family meals and beds very comfortable. Lots of lovely little personal touches too we felt very well looked after by our hosts. Ingrid and Neil are the most hospitable and relaxed hosts and it was lovely to get to know them and their lovely dog too. We needn't have worried about the proximity of the Coach house to their home it wasn't a problem at all. Thank you for a wonderful holiday stay we have come away with great memories!

The Coach House has been beautifully furnished and provisions have been well thought out, from spare towels for the pool, a nespresso machine, laundry / dishwasher pods, and plenty of crockery so that the dishwasher doesnât need to go on half load. Lovely cut wildflowers and welcome treats were really thoughtful. The grounds and surrounding area is incredibly beautiful, the children thoroughly enjoyed the pool and hot tub as well as visiting the local attractions. The owners are warm, welcoming and have made this a real home from home. We have recommended the Coach House to friends and wouldnât hesitate booking again in the future. Thank you!
