  We had a great week at 8 Town Close, and we would definitely return in the future. The bungalow felt like home from home; welcoming, very clean & comfortable, with a well-equipped kitchen, very comfortable beds & great showers. There are some great walks from the doorstep, from short to medium & long walks, with our favourite being across Little Hill Park, through Spout Hills and then following the paths to Letheringsett, and returning the same way rather than using the path alongside a fairly busy road. Holt Country Park is only a 20 minute walk away, and then you can follow whichever route signs depending on the amount of walking you want to do. Holt is great to explore with lots of independent shops, cafes & Bakers & Larners department store is well worth a visit, and especially the delicatessen. Both pubs are dog friendly, as are a lot of the cafes. It was a great weeks holiday, made better by having 8 Town Close to come home to in the afternoon and evening.

  The cottage is compact, but comfortable for two and so well presented. Downstairs (living space) has less obviously effective heating than upstairs, but we were warm enough and noticed some warmth when we came home. We noted there were blankets for colder seasons!The decor is professionally designed and very tasteful. The kitchen has a good range of equipment, for two, and the late bathroom is luxurious in its size and facilities. The bedroom is spacious and the bed comfortable.The position in the town makes access and local outings so easy, and the optional dedicated parking some 200 metres away, amongst the local allotments, is worth the small extra cost.Holt remains a delight. We didn’t quite share the high opinion of the chip shop across the road, but there are three others to choose from in future!

  One word to describe Daisy Cottage - perfect . Beautifully situated with its own parking space in the middle of lovely town of Holt. Daisy Cottage is spotless even though it’s dog friendly. Kitchen is one of the best equipped I’ve ever seen, the beds and sofa very comfortable. It was also very warm with the ability to turn the heating up or down depending on the weather which we really appreciated. Garden secure if you have a dog or small children. Fab sitting area outside with a BBQ. We are hoping to come back next year.

  First impressions when driving into the driveway was "WOW". This continued as we entered the cottage. Loved the dog basket and, of course, welcome the Adnam's bottle of prosecco (will be taking a few home!) Loved how local produce was continued throughout, e.g. hand wash etc. Everything was here that we needed. I was going to say about privacy was needed in/at double bedroom window, until hubby found the blind on day 5! Oops. Amazing week spent at Daisy Cottage and we will be booking again. Thank you.

  This is our third visit to Daisy Cottage. It is home from home. Everything you could need and more. Attention to detail is amazing. The dogs are so well catered for as well. The kitchen is like your own cupboards with all cooking and baking appliances and utensils. Lots of cutlery, crockery and glasses. Only one bug bare is the fridge size, but it's manageable. Thank you for our great Welcome Pack and I'm sure we'll be back again. We love Holt and surrounding areas. Many thanks.
