Guests say

Achill View is a well-received cottage in County Mayo, praised for its stunning views, cleanliness, and tranquil location. Guests appreciate the thoughtful touches, comfortable furnishings, and the pet-friendly environment. While some minor issues with facilities and maintenance are noted, the overall sentiment is overwhelmingly positive, with many guests eager to return.

Guests consistently mention the property's cleanliness, describing it as 'spotless' and 'extremely clean'. The high level of cleanliness contributes significantly to the comfort and appeal of the cottage.

The location is celebrated for its tranquility, stunning views, and proximity to local attractions. While one review mentioned the beach was not as close as expected, the scenic beauty of the area is a highlight for most.

The cottage is frequently described as comfortable and cosy, with comfortable beds and a homely atmosphere. However, one review mentioned the main bedroom's double bed was less than perfect, slightly impacting the score.

Facilities are generally well-received, with mentions of a well-equipped kitchen and enclosed garden. Some guests noted the absence of certain items like baking trays and mirrors near plug sockets, and one mentioned bare wires, suggesting room for improvement.

Many reviews highlight the owners' thoughtfulness, from the welcome pack with essentials to the prepared fireplace. While these gestures are greatly appreciated, it is politely noted that such personal touches, though likely, are not guaranteed for every stay.
