This market town defines the saying "good things come in small packages" as it proves itself to be a wonderful place for tourists to stay. Chipping Campden sits in the northern part of the Cotswolds and boasts many historical buildings from St. James' church where the Chipping Camden Music Festival is held every year, to the early 17th century market hall upon which the town prides itself. Not only does the town have a rich history but much more, the high street is laced with charming Cotswold stone buildings with a range of shops and pubs. Nearby there are several beautiful, formal gardens for you to wander through. Chipping Campden has held its own 'Olimpick Games' since the early 1600s including peculiar sports such as 'shin-kicking', most certainly worth lining your holiday up with to experience something so unique. So conveniently located for local pubs/restaurants and shops. House was small and cosy for the two of us, might have been a bit too cosy for four adults. Bedrooms lacked any real clothes storage, a chest of drawers would have been useful.

The town Chipping Campden is lovely and the house is perfectly situated. Totally out of control of Sarah, the house had some leaking problems, but that didn't interfere with our holiday. The only thing that was "off" was the bed; it was hard and had lumps. You could feel the spirals of the matras. We fixed that by taking the topper and duvet of the other bed and putting it on top of the one we were sleeping on. Furthermore, we just loved everything!
