Eastnor Cottage in Moreton-in-Marsh offers a charming stay with its large kitchen, sun terrace, and cosy log burner. Its convenient location is appreciated by guests, with easy access to local shops and the Cotswolds' attractions. While some guests have concerns about cleanliness and maintenance, the property's character and thoughtful touches, such as festive decorations, contribute to a pleasant experience.
Reviews on cleanliness are mixed, with several guests praising the property's tidiness, while others report issues with dog hair, odours, and general cleanliness. The property seems to have been addressed in some cases following feedback.
The location is highly praised for its convenience to shops, restaurants, and the train station. Its position in the Cotswolds makes it an ideal base for exploring the area, despite some concerns about parking and being situated on a busy road.
Guests find the beds comfortable and the living spaces cosy, although there are comments about some furniture being uncomfortable and the property potentially being unsuitable for more than four adults due to space constraints.
The property boasts a well-equipped kitchen and dining area, with a special mention of the Aga cooker. However, there are reports of maintenance issues such as mould, temperamental showers, and concerns about the safety of the stairs and outdoor areas.
While some guests mention thoughtful touches like Christmas decorations, there is insufficient information to determine if such gestures are consistent or to assess the overall thoughtfulness of the hosts. Therefore, a score cannot be provided.

The shower was temperamental and there was mould all inside the shower. The bedsheets were damp. Downstairs in the cupboard all the dishes , pans etc were dirty and grimey. We have pictures. Location was great! Overall could be a great property with a good clean and more TLC and attention to detail. Would say itâs only big enough for 4 people maximum.

The cottage is a very comfortable space with all you need for a weekend away. There are also lots of great walks on the doorstep. Chloe and Mitch were wonderful hosts and gave great advice on places to eat and things to do! We will definitely be back

! The overall housekeeping and maintenance of the property was horrendous. The decking and outside area was disgusting and nothing like the photos. Huge holes in the outside furniture so was unusable. The bathroom is covered in mould around the bath area. And the entire house smelt musty and damp when we arrived and took days for us to get rid of it. On arrival the house felt dirty and we had to go and spend time and money buying cleaning products to make us feel relaxed. Mouldy food left in the cupboards and the BBQ was covered in grease and mould so was unusable. We had a stove and a microwave only to use for a weeks holiday and ended up having to call for instructions on how to use the Aga as the BBQ was vile. Which meant the kitchen was boiling all week. No communication from the owner and horrendous customer service from Sykes Holiday following our multiple phone callls while we were away asking for help. Please do not waste your money and use another holiday company!!
