Everything you would need in the cottage, with the bonus of lovely outside space. Hay as delightful as ever.

It is set behind a pub, which can get noisy in the evening with their beer garden a few feet from the front door of the property. The front/main bedroom is also opposite a street lamp which is very bright (although does get switched off later until early morning again. The parking is great - do get the side alley key from the cottage before you unload your car, as it makes it a much shorter journey! The cottage is well equipped, but recommend on bringing your own 'essentials' like milk - we stay in a lot of these properties and it is often hard to predict what will be provided as a 'welcome' pack, and you can assume very little here, which is fine if you know that. We found the provision of dishwasher tablets (a couple), washing machine powder/tablets (none) and toilet paper (not enough to last us (2 adults) the week) was sub-optimal, so again, be aware of that and plan ahead. Food highlight was the mobile pizza van - order on line and pick up from the very-near-by centre of town. Indigo indian was ok. Angie's cafe did a great breakfast with some friendly banter thrown in too. We had a great stay and this really is a wonderful location for long walks and town shopping.

Only problem we had was the three notifications of cleaning up when we left. Of course we clean up. We are in our 70's and alway leave a place as we find it, apart from the necessary, ready for the cleaners. This cottage does not sleep four adults. The bed in room two is a king single, two children but never two adults. The main bed is a standard double, ok for small adults, hence we used both beds. Cottage is ideally situated in middle if town, perfect location and we had a lovely three days.
