The Paddock in Keswick is highly praised for its excellent location, spacious and comfortable accommodation, and ample parking. Guests appreciate the en-suite rooms, well-stocked kitchen, and additional features like a hot tub. While some minor maintenance issues and cleanliness concerns are noted, the overall experience is positive, with many guests eager to return.
Most guests found The Paddock clean and well-presented, with quality towels and bed linen. However, some noted areas needing more attention, such as mould in bathrooms and a few cleanliness oversights. These appear to be isolated incidents rather than a general trend.
The property's location is consistently lauded for being close to Keswick's High Street, with easy access to pubs, restaurants, and beautiful mountains. The convenience and centrality are major highlights for guests.
Guests find the beds very comfortable and the multiple living spaces a bonus for larger groups. Some concerns were raised about the temperature control and the suitability of the ground floor bedrooms for those with limited mobility.
The Paddock is well-equipped with a hot tub, high-tech kitchen appliances, and Wi-Fi, although the signal strength is variable. Some guests reported maintenance issues like broken toilet seats and problematic door locks, suggesting room for improvement.
There is no mention of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness from the host. Therefore, this category cannot be scored.

The property was perfect for our large family group. I would mention that the downstairs bedrooms were not as comfortable as the others as one has restricted room around the bed and the other has patio doors out to the garden and so is the only access for the hot tub. As mentioned by previous occupants , there is an issue with the front door lock and we could not always unlock the door . I contacted maintenance but nobody came out and we were told to leave the patio door unlocked so that we could get in . Not ideal . Having said that , if this was sorted we would definitely stay here again .

The location was excellent, easy to park and a few minutes into the town centre. There were 13 of us and the photos donât do justice to the size of the accommodation, especially the bedroom size and comfort. The house was clean and towels, bedding and toiletries were all lovely. The kitchen was very well provisioned including dishwasher and washing machine tablets. If we had any queries, Sarah responded immediately and resolved any issues, either sending the maintenance man or sourcing suggested new equipment. Hot tub was a bonus and also clean and very welcoming after a days activity. The only slight let down (having teens with us) was the wi-fi but I think there was a fault on the line that could be resolved. Thank you for a great stay, I have already recommended and would definitely stay here again.
