It's wonderful to be able to walk from the door, and despite the fact that we had very damp weather all week, it was still a glorious break in a very special cottage. There was an issue with the hot water and towel rail but the owners are aware of this. I would have given 5 stars if we'd been able to have hot baths and dry towels!

Surrounded by meadow with sheep and cows, beautiful views of the fells plus the sound of the nearby river and swallows chatting. Three pretty bedrooms upstairs with an amazing lounge and smart TV downstairs for the chilly evenings. Our dogs also enjoyed their stay with lots of room to run around outside, like us we didnât want to leave. Looking forward to returning.

Bathroom looking a bit tired & unloved including bare lightbulb. Would also have been nice to been warned about the 24hr running generator at front of property which somewhat spoilt the quiet setting! Sadly felt a bit overpriced for what we had
