Within the surrounding area you will find superb opportunities for walking, mountain biking and climbing with the Coniston Old Man and Wetherlam, and the lovely woodland trails at Grizedale Forest all nearby. Other attractions include the village of Hawkshead, home of the Beatrix Potter Gallery and Esthwaite Water. One well behaved dog is welcome.
