The Brambles in Ulverston is consistently praised for its luxurious comfort, immaculate condition, and peaceful location. Guests appreciate the high standards, attention to detail, and the thoughtful touches provided by the hosts. It's an ideal base for exploring the Lake District, offering a home-from-home experience with well-equipped facilities and a welcoming atmosphere for both guests and their pets.
Reviewers unanimously commend the lodge for its exceptional cleanliness, noting it as immaculate and very clean, which indicates a top-notch standard of hygiene and upkeep.
The location is highly praised for its tranquility and proximity to the Lake District, making it an excellent spot for exploration and relaxation. The only reason for not giving a perfect score is the lack of explicit detail on accessibility and convenience to local amenities.
Guests are unanimous in finding the lodge comfortable, with a cosy, warm, and homely feel. The quality of the bed and pillows is specifically highlighted, suggesting a very comfortable stay.
The lodge is celebrated for its well-equipped kitchen and high-quality appliances, though one mention of limited cupboard space for groceries prevents a perfect score.
The hosts' thoughtfulness is evident through the welcome gifts and meticulous attention to detail. While such gestures are greatly appreciated, it's important to note that these are personal touches and may vary with each stay.

Haverthwaite is a small village and civil parish in the Furness region of Cumbria. It is within the Lake District National Park and is located six miles east of Ulverston, near the southern end of Windermere. The village gets part of its name from the Old Norse word thwaite which usually refers to a clearing or settlement in the forest. Close to the village is Newby Bridge which is at the southern tip of Lake Windermere which takes its name from the five arched stone bridge built in 1651 over the River Leven. The famous Furness Railway, one of Britain's oldest working standard gauge steam railways, runs between Haverthwaite and Newby Bridge. Visit the Lakeside Hotels and enjoy magnificent views across Windermere and the surrounding fells, or enjoy the Aquarium of the Lakes, where the naturally themed habitats, bring the history of the Lakes vividly to life.

It was lovely and quiet on the park. We had a lovely 2 night break we will definitely come back. Our two small dogs loved it too. They sat watching pheasants all evening through the glass doors! Thank you
