Guests say

Fellside Lodge in Windermere receives high praise for its dog-friendly amenities, comfortable furnishings, and excellent location. Guests appreciate the well-equipped kitchen, hot tub, and cosy atmosphere. The property is noted for its cleanliness, though a few guests mentioned minor issues. It's a short walk to local attractions, making it a convenient base for exploring.

Most guests found Fellside Lodge to be clean and well-presented. However, there were isolated comments about floors not being mopped, a dirty dog bath, and some leftover laundry, which slightly affected the overall impression.

The location is highly praised for being close to Bowness, within walking distance to town and the lake, and offering a perfect base for exploring the Lake District.

Guests consistently report that the beds are comfortable and the house feels spacious and homely. The cosy atmosphere and the provision of dog-friendly features contribute to the overall comfort.

The property is celebrated for its well-equipped kitchen, hot tub, and dog-friendly facilities. Some maintenance issues were noted, such as a partially working oven and slippery steps, but these were minor compared to the overall positive feedback.

While guests frequently mention the dog-friendly amenities and the well-stocked kitchen, there is no mention of gifts or special thoughtful touches that would warrant a score in this category. Therefore, the score is set to null.

My hubby and 2 adult children with partners stayed for 3 nights last weekend. I truly didn’t want to leave! It’s the first time we’ve take the kids back to the lakes since they were much younger. The property was so much more than we imagined. Kitchen was amazing, we were doing a come dine with me and were amazed at everything provided, incredible! Downstairs living areas were so comfortable, log burners very welcome. Bedrooms and bathrooms were incredible, we felt as if we were in a 5⭐️ hotel. Beds incredibly comfortable. Downstairs utility with washer and dryer plus dog washing, which we didn’t actually need to use these but very well equipped. Outside area lovely and secluded, hot tub accommodated all of us comfortably. Just 10 minutes walk from the centre made it a perfect base to walk to or visit surrounding areas. I would definitely recommend this property!

The house was immaculate and had everything you could possibly need for your stay there! We all absolutely loved the house and the hot tub was amazing. Bowness town centre was just a short walk down the hill and we had a couple of great nights in the Arts Bar. We had such a great time and the house was a home from home it was brilliant so much so we have booked to go there again in May 2025

6 adults, 2 infants & 2 small dogs, ample space and comfort. Amenities are endless. Having access to the garage to store our roof box and bars in for the week was brilliant. Literally a home from home, none of the family wanted to leave and we are already looking at returning next year hopefully!
