Harold's Barn is a gorgeous holiday barn close to the North Norfolk Coast. It's beautifully furnished to sleep six people in three ensuite bedrooms and suits couples, families or friends. The holiday home is a few miles from Holt, close to Cromer, Blakeney Point and Holkham, and under an hour's drive from Norwich. There is loads to do, especially if you enjoy walking or cycling through spectacular scenery rich with flora and fauna. 

Harold's Barn has been lovingly transformed from a run-down flint building to a beautiful holiday home sleeping six people in three ensuite bedrooms. The owner's attention to detail means you don't have to worry about anything. Turn up with your luggage, your self-catering provisions, and high expectations of a fantastic holiday. It isn't only the property that will impress - the views over fields and countryside are as idyllic as it gets!

Briningham is a rural village between Holt and Fakenham with easy access to the North Norfolk Coast. This region is perfect for a holiday in all seasons. It's great in summer when you can spend long, lazy days finding your favourite part of the 45-mile coast, yet just as great in autumn and winter, when the beaches empty. Cromer has traditional seaside entertainments, including a 151-metre long Victorian pier whilst Wells is good if you have children as it's big enough to be exciting but small enough that you can easily keep an eye on them. Cromer, Blakeney Point and Holkham are well-known to bird watchers, as are the Salthouse Marshes at Cley.

Activities and attractions include treating children to a day at bewilderwood, taking a seal-watching boat trip from Blakeney or Morston, admiring glorious country houses like Sandringham, Felbrigg, and Holkham Hall, or walking along the woodland nature trails at Pensthorpe Natural Park. You're only an hour from Norwich for a day of shopping and sightseeing in the country's best-preserved medieval city, with options closer to home, including Holt, Fakenham, Aylsham, and Burnham Market.

Accommodation Comprises:

Harold's Barn is a beautifully renovated and extended barn with accommodation over two levels. It is decorated and furnished to a very high level with modern touches and a fresh, neutral colour palette that appeals to all tastes and doesn't detract from the rural views.

Downstairs:

Spacious and welcoming entrance hall opening into the living space with a double-height vaulted ceiling and plenty of windows to show off the views and let in the natural light. Another door leads to the sunroom, and there is a bespoke oak staircase rising to the first floor bedrooms. The hallway also has a cloakroom with a WC, and space to hang coats and leave shoes.

Large living area with two three-seater sofas and an armchair, a 50-inch Smart TV, and a wood burner with wood provided during winter.

Between the living room and kitchen is a dining area furnished with a dining table to seat six with ease, and more if you're having friends over for dinner.

Even the most reluctant cook will find it easy to prepare delicious meals in the kitchen designed by Arcadia and fitted by Siematic. Cupboards and drawers are stocked with utensils and equipment, leaving plenty of room for you to store your groceries. Bosch integrated appliances make light work of cooking and doing the dishes afterwards.

Four steps lead from the living room to the downstairs bedroom. It features a super-king or two full-sized (3ft-wide) single beds, bedside tables with reading lights and a walk-in wardrobe. The ensuite has a bath, walk-in shower, WC and a handbasin.

Upstairs:

Enjoy lazy mornings snoozing in the superking-sized bed in the master bedroom. It has wonderful high ceilings with blackout blinds so you're not disturbed too early by the sun. An ensuite shower room has a WC and a handbasin. All bathrooms feature electric towel rails, vanity mirrors, shaving and toothbrush sockets. Bath towels, hand towels, and bath mats are provided.

A superking/twin layout makes the second upstairs bedroom suitable for guests of all ages. Beds are made up for your arrival. The bedroom also benefits from an en-suite shower room.

Outside: The enclosed garden has a paved area with an outdoor dining setting. There is also undercover parking and an EV charging point.

Additional Information: Utilities, WiFi, bed linen and bath towels are included. Logs and kindling are supplied in winter. Smoking is not permitted. Well behaved pets are welcome (maximum of two). We offer walking on our 500 acre farm tracks and lanes which are immediately accessible from the property.
