A hose had been left running that flooded the garden and we didn't realise for a couple of days. There was a part of the upstairs tap missing but it still worked. Quite a lot of cobwebs on lights in dining area. One of the bifold doors wouldn't open - possibly broken. Lots of steps, one painted black by downstairs bathroom that we tripped over. But lovely location, comfortable beds, good parking spaces, hot tub was great.

A lovely house, could have been a better with attention to some details as others have mentioned. There needs to be another shower for the number of people the house can accommodate. The downstairs bedroom with decking had an awful smell of drains which clearly needs some attention, not pleasant for sleeping on a hot night. Unfortunately we couldn’t get the induction hob to work and the delivery of frying pans weren’t suitable for the hob. No hot tub towels provided, which were promised but didn’t arrive. Such a shame as the house and it’s location is really lovely

There was no salt or rinse aid in the dishwasher so I texted the owner, Wendy, to ask for some and also towels were not available for the hot tub, even though in the folder left for us by the owner, told us to only use these in the hot tub. The cleaner came the next day with these items. There was only one small frying pan, which also had seen better days. Otherwise the kitchen was large and ok. Living Room This room was very dusty and had cobwebs. There was dust and dirt around edges of wooden floor and foot marks on it too. The settees were very old and worn out and very uncomfortable and need replacing. The patio door windows were extremely dirty. The patio doors also were hard to lock at times. Bedrooms Downstairs bedroom was spacious and light and airy but there was dust and hairs in the drawers and very dirty patio doors again. The upstairs bedrooms were also light and airy and spacious. There is ample hanging and drawer space. Lovely views. Upstairs shower room Needs renovating. Paint peeling off walls. Shower had black mould on it and shower glass doors were marked with water. Toilet had dark brown stains in it. Downstairs bathroom was spacious with large bath and other than toilet not being cleaned properly, was great. No toilet brush available for cleaning. Walls up the stairs are marked and could do with repainting. Carpet had large mark on it under radiator upstairs what looked like water had leaked on it. The garden could do with some general tidying up with weeds growing through the stones. I think attention needs to be made to the general cleaning of the house but also some maintenance to the areas I have mentioned.
