Rainer Rocks is a well-regarded property, praised for its proximity to the beach and local amenities, spaciousness, and well-equipped kitchen. Guests appreciate the comfort and the thoughtful touches like dog bowls, though some noted issues with cleanliness, hot water supply, and parking clarity. The property is ideal for family gatherings and offers a pleasant stay in Polzeath.
While many guests found the property clean and well-maintained, there were a few mentions of cleanliness issues such as hair in the wet room and an unpleasant smell in the kitchen. These seem to be isolated incidents rather than a consistent problem.
The location is highly praised for being close to the beach and local amenities, making it an ideal spot for beachgoers and those looking to explore the area. The convenience and desirability of the location are consistently noted across reviews.
Guests find the property very comfortable, with a spacious dining area and a well-thought-out living space. However, some guests mentioned issues with hot water availability and a whistling noise from the showers, which slightly impacted the overall comfort.
The property is generally well-equipped, particularly the kitchen, but guests have suggested improvements such as clearer instructions for heating and rubbish disposal, and a better system for drying clothes. The need for a washing machine and tumble dryer was also mentioned.
The property has been noted for thoughtful touches like dog bowls and welcome treats, contributing to a pleasant stay. However, as such gestures may vary and are not guaranteed, they should be considered a delightful bonus rather than an expectation.

All the rooms were clean and comfortable. we have been coming to Cornwall as a family for over 50 years so know the area very well. Our family get together once a year in Cornwall is precious to us so this property makes our stay even better. Thank you Christian for all your efforts. Weâll be back next year.

The house was clean, had everything we needed throughout the week and is perfectly located for getting around the north coast of Cornwall. We loved looking out the front door at the beautiful Polzeath beach which is just a short walk away and also walked to the stunning Daymer Bay. We are especially grateful to the owners for allowing dogs to stay and very grateful for the welcome treats!

The living area is well thought through and we liked that there were plenty of plates, knives, forks etc. A great house for all generations. For the rent charged, however, we would expect there to be both a washing machine and a tumble dryer and a better system for hanging out clothes when the weather is dry. We holiday at least twice a year in Cornwall and this makes A HUGE difference given so much time is spent getting wet - whether intentionally or due to the Cornish drizzle. A larger freezer is also needed when catering for 8 people.
