Guests say

Marina's Cottage in Lowestoft receives high praise for its comfort, spaciousness, and prime location near the beach and local amenities. Guests appreciate the well-equipped facilities, including a cosy wood burner and a modern kitchen. The property is dog-friendly and suitable for families, with thoughtful touches like cots and high chairs provided. While there was a minor issue with a damp smell, it was quickly resolved, and the owner's responsiveness adds to the positive experience.

The property is generally described as clean and well-maintained. One mention of a temporary damp smell suggests a slight deduction, but as it cleared quickly, the overall cleanliness is highly regarded.

The location is consistently lauded for its proximity to the beach, local pub, and shop. The ease of access to local attractions and the presence of wildlife like seals contribute to a perfect score.

Guests find the cottage comfortable, with a spacious garden, cosy living areas, and comfortable beds. A minor note about the size of twin beds being smaller than expected slightly impacts the score.

The cottage boasts excellent facilities, including a well-equipped kitchen, modern conveniences, and extras like buckets and spades. A single mention of recycling confusion slightly affects the score.

The owner's thoughtfulness is evident in the provision of items for babies and the dog, as well as the responsiveness to queries. Welcome gifts are mentioned, which are a kind gesture, though such gifts are subject to change and not guaranteed.

We stayed with family members so there were 5 adults and a baby. We absolutely loved our stay here. It was comfortable and very spacious, it was bigger than we had thought judging by the photos. The location was amazing with the beach a few minutes walk away. Perfect for a morning dog walk which we thoroughly enjoyed. The house was clean, warm and comfortable. It had everything we could need and more. We did have a problem while we were there and this was resolved very quickly by the owner nothing was too much trouble. If I had to make one critism it would be to have larger beds in the front 2 bedrooms as the beds were very small extremely comfortable but small. We had an amazing time at this property and would highly recommend and we would visit again. Thank you for everything

Apart from that the property was excellent and the owner responded immediately to a small query we had. All in all we had a fabulous week away. Thank you

Very comfortable and a good location with a quiet pub across the road, the beach a very short walk away and a shop down the road. The photos of the cottage don’t do it justice, both the kitchen and bathroom are beautifully done. Would recommend to anyone.
