Guests say

Guests consistently praise The Wain House for its cleanliness, comfort, and peaceful location. The property's hot tub, games room, and welcoming touches such as cake and wine are frequently highlighted as highlights. While some minor issues are mentioned, the overall sentiment is highly positive, with many guests recommending the property and expressing a desire to return.

The majority of guests have found the property to be spotlessly clean, with only a few mentioning dust and cobwebs. The positive remarks far outweigh the negatives, indicating a high standard of cleanliness.

The property is appreciated for its peaceful and remote setting, offering tranquillity and beautiful countryside views. Some guests found the narrow roads challenging but also noted that it contributes to the property's secluded charm.

Guests have reported the beds to be very comfortable and the property spacious. There are a few mentions of dining chairs being slightly large for the table, but overall, the property is considered very comfortable.

The facilities, including the hot tub, games room, and gym, are generally well-received. However, some guests noted issues with the games room equipment and difficulties regulating shower temperatures, suggesting room for improvement in maintenance.

Many guests have expressed gratitude for the thoughtful touches like welcome gifts of cake and wine. While these gestures are greatly appreciated, it's important to note that such extras, though delightful, are subject to availability and not guaranteed.

Perfect for an Autumn getaway with friends.

Kids loved it. Very comfortable. Owners had a homemade lemon drizzle cake, chocolate and a bottle of wine waiting for us on our arrival. Not a lot around the cottage but if you’re willing to drive 30-50mins to destinations there’s amazing places around. Two which we would highly recommend are the Shropshire sculpture park and carding mill valley ( perfect for a walk and to dip feet in the reservoir)
