Guests say

Stallington Hall Farm is consistently praised for its cosy and modern interior, mixing old charm with new amenities. Guests love the hot tub, the property's cleanliness, and the friendly, helpful owners. The enclosed garden is a hit with dog owners, and the cottage's location makes it a good base for exploring the Peak District. Some guests suggest improvements, but overall experiences are very positive.

Reviews frequently mention the cottage being spotlessly clean, indicating high standards of cleanliness. One review mentioned dust and cobwebs, but this seems an isolated comment amidst overall excellent feedback.

The property is appreciated for its countryside setting and proximity to the Peak District, though a car is necessary for reaching local attractions. Some guests noted the convenience of nearby amenities despite the rural location.

Many guests found the cottage warm, comfy, and cosy, with a lovely open fire and comfortable beds. A few guests mentioned the beds could be firmer, but overall the comfort level is rated highly.

The facilities, especially the hot tub, are a highlight for many guests. However, some reviews suggest that maintenance could be improved, such as fixing a hot tap and tidying cables. The presence of a well-equipped kitchen and entertainment options like Xbox games and DVDs are positively noted.

While some guests appreciated the helpfulness of the owners and the provision of wood and coal for the fire, there are no specific mentions of welcome gifts or additional thoughtful touches in the reviews provided. Therefore, it is not possible to accurately score thoughtfulness based on the available information.

The property was spotless and had everything we could possibly need. We all had a wonderful time and were overwhelmed with the property, it is beautiful and so comfortable and cosy, we will be back again! We also loved the secure gated garden for our dogs. The downstairs bathroom is spacious and luxurious, as is the kitchen and the sitting room very cosy with a lovely open fire. Our friends very much enjoyed the hot tub, too. An upstairs bathroom and slightly firmer mattresses in the twin room would make it perfect.

The appliances were easy to use. The owner met us when we arrived. And explained all the details. He even took mine and my sister in laws luggage upstairs. The garden was ideal for the dogs, enclosed and there were lovely walks close by. Thanks for a lovely relaxing holiday.
