Guests say

Guests have praised the cottage's prime location, cleanliness, and comfort. The property is well-regarded for its proximity to Stratford-upon-Avon's centre and amenities, with many appreciating the tasteful decoration and cosy atmosphere. While some minor maintenance issues and suggestions for additional facilities were noted, the overall experience was very positive, with special mentions of the thoughtful welcome gifts provided by the owner.

The majority of guests found the cottage to be very clean, with several reviews highlighting its spotless condition. A few guests mentioned minor cleanliness issues, but these do not seem to detract significantly from the overall high standards maintained at the property.

The location is consistently praised for being excellent, with guests appreciating the short walking distance to the town centre, shops, restaurants, and riverside walks. The provision of a parking permit was also seen as a valuable addition.

Guests found the beds comfortable and the cottage cosy, especially praising the garden and the warm atmosphere. Some guests suggested improvements such as additional lighting and storage, but overall, the comfort level was deemed high.

The cottage is well-equipped with a modern kitchen and tasteful decor. However, guests noted the absence of a microwave, a washing machine, and some had issues with the TV setup. The lack of a handrail on the stairs was also mentioned as a point for improvement.

Several guests were delighted by the thoughtful touches such as welcome gifts including wine and chocolates. While these gestures were highly appreciated, it should be noted that such personal touches, though charming, are not guaranteed for every stay.

Only issue we had were the steepness of the stairs, especially at the top. It does require a handrail.

  • Nicole

Always managed to get a parking space outside the house too. Very impressed and will definitely recommend.

  • Dean

Such an ideal location. Only thing I would request is a vacuum cleaner at the property to make it easier for cleaning. Difficult to do with dustpan and brush.
