Guests say

Dyson House is a spacious and well-located cottage in Skipton, ideal for exploring the Yorkshire Dales. Guests have praised its comfortable beds, well-equipped kitchen, and the thoughtful touches like games and local tourist brochures. While some guests mentioned road noise and minor maintenance issues, the overall experience is one of a welcoming and inviting stay.

The property is generally well-kept, though there were comments about dust under the beds and some areas showing signs of wear. These seem to be isolated incidents rather than a trend.

The location is appreciated for its proximity to local attractions and the village railway station. However, several reviews mention the busy road and associated noise, which affects the tranquillity for some guests.

Guests find the beds very comfortable and the house spacious. There are some remarks about limited space in one of the bedrooms and the living room furniture not being particularly comfortable for everyone.

The kitchen is well-equipped, and there are entertainment options like a good-sized TV and board games. Some guests noted issues with the oven door and a need for more utensils, suggesting room for improvement in maintenance.

While guests appreciated the provision of milk, tea, and coffee upon arrival, there is not enough information to assess the consistency of such gestures or other thoughtful amenities that might be provided regularly.

    Cottage needs some serious tlc

It meant the front bedrooms especially had loud traffic noise all night long. The house itself was spacious and comfortable.

We were really worried we'd break it as no clear way to close it. *The living and dining rooms were very dark and cold have done with more side lights. *The hall down to the front door (which we didn't use at all) could do with coat hooks as we piled the bench high with coats.
