Mandy the lady who runs Laskill is amazing! She cooks delicious meals that she bring ready to eat to your cottage, she is always cheerful and smiling. The friend I travelled with for our short break had stayed here before and recommended that I go with her this time and I am so glad that I did. The Smithy, one of the cottages, was delightfully furnished, with everything in the kitchen that you could possibly need. A wonderful log burning stive which was prepared and ready to go with extra logs standing by. We really had a wonderful few days here and came home refreshed. There are so many beautiful places to visit, we managed Staithes, Whitby, Helmsley and more. Nunnington Hall a NT place is just a few miles away and well worth a visit. Many thanks Mandy for being such an excellent host, we will be back!!
