Clean and comfortable beds. It is an old thick walled cottage so in the autumn nights it is quite cool . The heating is controlled by owner so only works twice a day early morning and 2 hrs in the evening The multi fuel fire is a lovely touch but the heat only warms the sitting room ,so when moving to other areas it is cool . The stairs from the bedroom could be a challenge for the less mobile or mature generation . The shower cubicle is a snug fit which is a shame as the bathroom could have accommodated a larger one . However these are my own opinion and just an observation for intended bookings . Beautified walks and plenty of places to visit .

Very well equipped with no fussy ornaments etc which is just how we like it. I think the only thing is the beds upstairs were not very comfortable but this made us appreciate our own bed when we got back home! We would definitely like to go back to the cottage again as itâs in such a lovely quiet peaceful spot but is located a very convenient distance to amenities and there are some lovely places to eat not too far away too. We thoroughly enjoyed our weeks stay.

Beautiful scenery and lots of lovely walks on the doorstep. We had a wonderful week here recharging batteries and can't wait to come here again next year.
