After a day of exploring the vast Preseli Hills (3 miles), you can always look forward to returning home, making use of the ample outdoor space in the summer or getting cosy together indoors when winter weather hits.
The homeliest spot for unwinding can be found in the lounge, an inviting room with cushy seating, a wood burner and a Smart TV for rejuvenating evenings. Also on the ground floor, the kitchen/diner is a light-filled space with plenty of countertop space and all the cooking equipment needed to prepare your favourite dishes. Enjoy meals at the dining table here or step out into the lovely garden and eat alfresco. Outside, you’ll find a hot tub that’s shared between two other cottages and a BBQ and fire pit that’s all yours. Back inside, pass a convenient twin bedroom and shower room downstairs, before reaching the final two bedrooms, a double and a twin, and a family bathroom on the first floor.
In a truly rural destination, you can embark on walks and bike rides from your doorstep, plotting a route that ends in your nearest village pub, 1 mile away. The market towns of Newcastle Emlyn (9 miles), Cardigan (11 miles) and Carmarthen (17 miles) are all ideal destinations for when you’re seeking an afternoon of shopping and dining out. Each town has its own historic Welsh castle, so you’ll always have some history to soak up in between visits to shops and cafes.
