Ysgubor Bach is our 1 bed cottage situated on our working smallholding in Llanwenog, West Wales. With lots of friendly animals to meet our farm is a great place to escape and unwind in a truly un-spoilt part of Wales. The golden sandy beaches of the Cardigan Bay are only a short drive away with lots of wildlife to see and enjoy. The single storey cottage sleeps 2 and has its own dog friendly private enclosed garden with a hot tub perfect for relaxing in after a day exploring all West Wales has on offer.
Nestled in a truly magnificent location amongst the rolling Welsh countryside, Ysgubor Bach (Little Barn) is a traditional single storey semi-detached cottage in the grounds of our smallholding.
It provides the ideal base for couples whatever time of year you choose to visit. This former barn, dating back to the 18th century, has been sympathetically restored with comfort in mind.
Sleeping two people with spacious living/dining area, a well equipped kitchen and a shower room heated by an electric boiler makes this cottage the perfect home from home. Outside there’s a private enclosed patio area with garden furniture and Hot Tub that completes the picture, making it the perfect place to unwind following a busy day’s adventure! There’s a private parking space.
The cottage is pet friendly with two dogs as standard and more may be possible by prior arrangement. A footpath leads through our farm giving doorstep access for morning or evening doggy walks.
,Ground Floor:
Open Plan Living area- With a 2 seat sofa you can cuddle up whilst watching the smart TV, playing a board game or reading a book.
Open Plan Kitchen/Dining area- A well equipped kitchen with everything you should need to make a quick pizza or a full on Sunday Roast with an electric oven, induction hob, microwave and a fridge with ice box. There’s a wooden table with two chairs for you to enjoy your meals as well as French doors leading out to a patio with table, benches and a bbq for that al fresco dining.
First Floor:
Bed 1- Relax in a double bed with hypoallergenic duvet and pillows made from British sheep wool. Bedding and Towels are included.
Shower room- With shower cubicle, toilet, wash basin, electric radiator and demister mirror.
Outside:
Enclosed private garden area with patio, table and chairs, BBQ and the all important hot tub for stargazing in the evening.
Extras: Hairdryer. Welcome Pack: Our welcome pack currently includes 1 litre of fresh local milk, tea, coffee, sugar and chocolates. We are looking to keep expanding this but we want local produce where possible.
