Guests say

Hen Felin Isaf is a beautifully restored cottage in a stunning, peaceful location in Llanrwst, North Wales & Snowdonia. Guests have praised its spaciousness, cleanliness, and the thoughtful welcome provided. The fenced garden is appreciated, especially by pet owners. While some guests experienced minor issues, the overall sentiment is positive, with many expressing a desire to return.

The cottage generally receives positive remarks for cleanliness, though one review mentioned a musty smell, surface dust, and dead flies upon arrival. This suggests room for improvement, but the issue does not appear to be widespread.

The location is consistently described as stunning and beautiful, with the peacefulness of the area being a highlight for guests. The occasional mention of traffic does not significantly detract from the overall high praise for the location.

Most reviews find the cottage comfortable and warm, with one mentioning it felt like home. However, one review cited issues with heating and cold, suggesting that comfort levels may vary depending on the time of year and maintenance of heating facilities.

Facilities are generally well-received, with the property being restored to a high standard. However, there are reports of non-working radiators and a TV, indicating that some aspects of maintenance could be improved.

Guests have mentioned a very thoughtful welcome, which indicates a level of care from the host. However, as gifts are not guaranteed and not all reviews mention them, the score reflects the positive sentiment without setting an expectation of gifts.

The lights and heating were left on for us so it felt warm and inviting when we arrived on a cold October evening. The property has been beautifully decorated and furnished and felt like a real home from.home. its in a great rural location, quiet except for the sounds of the stream running by. You coukd have been miles from civilisation when actually you are only 2 mins from the main road and access to plenty of places to visit, eat and things to do. A previous review said they couldn't work out how to turn the TV on and we would agree that its not too obvious and if you aren't confident it would be difficult and some written instructions would be good. Our only tiny criticism would be that from information provided, we had expected to be able to start a fire on the first night without having to bring anything but all there was was a log that was too big for the stove and newspapers. No kindling. So on our first night we had to go out to find logs and kindling. Otherwise, this is a great property and we would highly recommend. Thank you
