Comfortable beds and a great open plan living area. Two of my kids particularly loved the crog loft and one spent most of his time sitting in the window on the stairs reading. Despite sleeping 5 there was only enough stools and place mats for 4 at the island so one of us had to sit on the sofa to eat dinner. I think a couple extra place mats and a fifth folding stool would be helpful. The island is definitely big enough for one more. WiFi signal can be a bit spotty due to signal strength and DNS filters, a VPN is highly recommended if you wish to use it reliably. For Pokémon Go lovers there is a pokéstop at the end of the drive (5-10 minute walk down a single track road) and there is a spawn point at the site. Loved the private garden area for the dog and there's a few nice little walks nearby. We were here for a funeral in Brecon and it provided the perfect hideaway and basecamp for us. We visited Llandudno, Llanberis and the Sygun Copper Mines while we were here. We also traveled by electric car and there are plenty of fast chargers within a 10-15 minute drive of the cottage and had no issues with using them.

The rear garden area seems to be modelled on a sink estate - foot high grass, rusty wheel that should be dumped, broken bits of tile standing against a wall and crappy furniture. Itâs a sad waste of its location. Inside the fridge doesnât work properly, there is no welcome or guidance notes, most of the furniture needs updating. For me the very worst thing is the lack of mattress or pillow protectors on the beds - just yucky! The owners should be ashamed that they have allowed what should be a fantastic property deteriorate like this. The shower is great and thatâs about it!
