Snook's Cottage is praised for its beautiful garden, dog-friendly environment, and traditional charm. Its location is ideal for exploring Snowdonia and Anglesey. Guests appreciate the thoughtful touches, including treats and the cosy atmosphere created by log burners and electric blankets. Some concerns about cleanliness and maintenance are noted, alongside the proximity to a busy road and parking difficulties.
Reviews are mixed regarding cleanliness. Some guests found the cottage to be clean and comfortable, while others reported dust, cobwebs, and a musty smell. The presence of both positive and negative comments leads to a slightly above-average score.
The cottage's location is frequently commended for its proximity to local attractions and natural beauty. However, some guests mentioned traffic noise and tricky access due to parking. The overall positive reception of the location results in a good score.
Guests generally find the cottage cosy, especially with the fire and electric blankets. Some mentioned the property being cold or the furniture being uncomfortable, but the positive aspects, such as the garden and traditional features, contribute to a comfortable experience.
Facilities are well-received with mentions of a well-equipped kitchen and log burners. However, issues with rubbish collection, a small kitchen sink, and maintenance concerns slightly lower the score. The presence of Netflix and smart TV adds to the positive side.
Many guests noted thoughtful gestures such as treats for both humans and dogs, and the provision of fuel for the fire. While these gifts are appreciated, it is important to note that such extras are subject to change and may not be guaranteed for every stay.

Would definitely stay again. Our only issue wasnt with the cottage but the terrible parking of the neighbours who seem to think parking at the opposite a driveway is legal and helpful. It did make it very difficult and unsafe trying to get in and out of the driveway. Thank you to the owners of the cottage for letting us stay and we liked the info about the people who lived in snooks cottage.

So cosy.. the fires were brilliant at keeping us warm. Do take your own tea and coffee though as these were not provided. Our sheepdog loved the garden and the stream that runs along side the cottage and garden. Just beautiful and I wonât hesitate to book again. Thankyou!!

Had we been in my husbands car the property would not have been accessible due to the size of the driveway. I realise that the neighbours parking is beyond your control but you might want to emphasise that access is limited. The shower temperature swings between freezing and boiling even when the control was not touched. There is a very strong smell of damp in the kitchen cupboards. The electric blankets and throw were a very nice touch. All in all I think we got what we paid for as it was very reasonable.
