Cefn Bryn Bach is a well-regarded cottage in Criccieth, praised for its cleanliness, prime location, and spaciousness. Guests appreciate the proximity to local amenities and the inclusion of a well-equipped kitchen and modern bathroom. While some guests mention minor issues with comfort and facilities, the overall sentiment is positive, with many looking forward to returning.
The property generally receives high marks for cleanliness, with guests describing it as 'spotlessly clean' and 'very clean'. However, a few guests noted areas where cleaning could be improved, such as under the sofa and around the property.
The location is highly praised for its convenience, with easy access to the town, beaches, and local attractions. The presence of a nearby pub and railway line is noted, but most guests do not find this to be a significant issue.
Comfort receives mixed reviews. While some guests find the property warm and the beds comfortable, others mention issues with mattresses and seating. The overall sentiment is that the property is comfortable, but there is room for improvement.
Facilities are generally good, with a well-equipped kitchen and modern bathroom. However, guests have suggested that the addition of items such as a dishwasher and better quality kitchenware would enhance the experience. Maintenance issues like a difficult-to-lock door and a need for more bathroom rails are also mentioned.
While some guests mention a welcome pack with tea, sugar, milk, and Welsh cakes, it is not consistently referenced across reviews to confidently score thoughtfulness. Therefore, it is politely noted that such gifts, while appreciated, are not guaranteed.

The photos donât do it justice! It was spacious and we enjoyed the enclosed garden for the dog. Well equipped too and the shops and beach on the doorstep.

Comfortable beds, although the sofas were slippery due to leather. Facilities were spot on. Very good enclosed garden/patio. Plenty walks around Cricceith. I certainly will be returning to this cottage when I need a holiday in Wales with my dog.

It was warm and comfortable and had all the equipment we needed, except a teapot! The heating was easy to control and the TV is similar to ours at home so that was easy too! It was great to be able to walk down to the beach from the cottage. We would certainly return to this cottage if we go back to Criccieth in the future. We would highly recommend the Castle fish and chips shop. We explored most of the Llyn Peninsula. We now need another holiday to recover from all the walking (including the dog!)
