Guests say

Lyndale is a well-received holiday cottage in Newport, praised for its spaciousness, well-equipped kitchen, and beautiful views. It comfortably accommodates large groups and families, offering a convenient location close to local amenities and the beach. Guests have enjoyed memorable stays, celebrating special occasions and exploring the area. While some minor maintenance issues and cleanliness points were raised, the overall sentiment is positive, with many expressing a desire to return.

Most guests found Lyndale to be clean and welcoming. However, there were comments about cobwebs and a filthy barbecue, suggesting room for improvement in certain areas. The majority of feedback indicates a satisfactory level of cleanliness, but attention to detail could enhance the experience.

The location of Lyndale is highly praised, with its proximity to the village, sea, Newport sands, and local attractions. Guests appreciate the short walks to various points of interest, making it an ideal base for exploring South Wales & Pembrokeshire.

Guests have found the house comfortable, with ample space for multiple families and cosy bedrooms. The presence of multiple bathrooms adds to the comfort level. However, there were minor issues with a bedroom door not closing and an on-suite door lock misalignment, slightly detracting from the overall comfort.

The facilities at Lyndale are generally well-regarded, especially the kitchen and outdoor areas. Some guests encountered issues with slow drainage and a lack of certain kitchen implements, but these were seen as minor. The house is considered well-equipped for large groups.

While the reviews reflect positively on the property and the owner's communication, there is no mention of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness. Therefore, it is not possible to provide a score in this category.

Plenty of space for three generations, comfy beds, one of the best equipped kitchens EVER! Lovely view from the balcony. Great location close to both the water and the cafes and shops of Newport. Living room would have been a bit of a squeeze for all of us but fortunately we weren’t all in there at the same time. Thank you - we’d love to come back in the summer.

Lots of space to relax and chat and whilst we ate out for lunch/dinner, breakfasts around table in kitchen area were great. The setting was great with the sea views and everyone was taken with the location, easy walking distance to the pubs and cafes plus access to most walks. The cars hardly moved !! Definitely recommend the accomodation and the area

Spent our time with our children and grandchildren to celebrate our golden wedding anniversary. cottage was very roomy and the children loved the garden. One blip with the oven but on a call to the owner, an electrician was sent straight away. Lovely holiday and within walking distance to beach, shops and pubs and restaurants.
